New Balance // Catalogue Series

Conceptualised initially as a trade catalogue, we wanted to switch the stale format up a bit to be more relevant to its core audience to include product stories presented in a conducive lifestyle magazine format. New Balance believed in this rich and gorgeous art stock format so much that we continue to shoot and design this ‘Journal’ – and 6 years later, we’re still pushing global direction in a more considered and authentic fashion.

Continuing on from the successful ‘Journal’ newspaper format, we steered New Balance toward a reversible magazine format – brand and product stories on one side, flip it over and a trade product matrix to view on the reverse. After several years of producing this high quality quarterly publication, McFaul+Day have managed to morph the format to still be a key source of lifestyle brand direction at Global sales conferences and brand summits.
