Curated with the help of our friends at New Balance Gallery, we welcomed some of the most passionate and dedicated advocates of the brand to an exclusive retreat in the English Lake District for cream teas, hikes, BBQ’s, hazy pub afternoons, local ales, Full-English breakfasts and a dream visit to the Flimby Factory to learn about New Balance’s 35 years of refined craftsmanship in the UK with a very rare opportunity to produce their own ‘35th’ 576, 1500 or 991 sneaker. A full immersive brand experience money just can’t buy!
McFaul+Day produced the week long event from bespoke welcome packs, almost regal accommodation in the beautiful village of Cockermouth, catering, a local pub quiz, country walks and UK factory tours culminating in a once in a lifetime pop-up supper club dining experience. A local taster menu and champagne was served to 20 guests inside the production line area of New Balance’s legendary Flimby base.
With a huge and wide organic SoMe reach by the folks in the know, we managed to build more hype, more sales, more respect and add further credibility for the much loved and revered brand. Full global marketing assets were also gathered to celebrate the occasion for the launch of a special 35th Anniversary Pack.
